I bought this to be a cloak pin for my though republic Jedi cosplay, and it is absolutely perfect. The pin is smooth so no catching on the wool fabric, it has substance without being heavy, and the shape is unique without being ornate or weird. I have it pinned through the cloak fabric and it complements the brown so nicely.

It is exactly as described and pictured. It is heavyweight so if you have very thin hair, you might need an extra hairband underneath to keep it in place. I myself have semi-thin hair, but it seems to hold up well and stay put. If you are on the fence, BUY IT! You will not regret it.
