Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.  You will be notified of any possible delays due to holidays or production issues.

Custom orders and Made-to-order items will have an additional "production time" you will be notified of upon purchase. This time can Varey depending on different factors including production time, availability of materials, etc.

Delayed shipping and filing insurance claims.

When using our standard shipping, If your package should become lost or damaged we will not be able to file an insurance claim until at least 15 days after the original ship date therefore we do not ship out any replacement orders until after the insurance claim has been reviewed. This process takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks. If you want guaranteed shipping and replacements by a certain date, you will need to select a shipping upgrade. 

USPS: Your package shows delivered but you didn't receive your package  -In this case we must wait up to 15 days after the original shipment date to investigate.  Most packages will show up a few days after the listed delivery date. 

We are not responsible for stolen or packages that are missing after the carrier has declared them delivered with sufficient delivery evidence.(  Photo and or geolocation tag) 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

FREE Domestic Shipping on orders over $50 via USPS. This applies to the final amount of the purchase, not the total before discounts are applied. (tax and other fees are excluded) 

-We ship USPS Ground Advantage for our free shipping and therefore do not guarantee a package arrival date. If you would like a guaranteed fast delivery you will need to upgrade your shipping service and will be charged. 


International Shipping

We offer international shipping through Shopify global markets.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. DARKSTAR MACHINATIONS is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at darkstarmachinations@gmail.com. or on our built in website chat with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Customer satisfaction is our top priority at DARKSTAR MACHINATIONS. To ensure that you are completely take  care of we have a 30-day return policy.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at darkstarmachinations@gmail.com. with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
